Vintage White Stratocaster

Can you help me with fender guitars?

Hello world i am looking into buying an American made standard fender Stratocaster.
I will buy it from thomann and this site says that this guitar is a 2008 model. Thats all good.
All i want to know is that what is the finish on this guitar? i mean is it urethane or poly?
and is it true that white (olympic pearl or something) urethane guitars “yellow” a little after some time? (i am a vintage fan but i won’t pay for a road worn :p)

Hey man! Niiiice choice!
Strangely enough, at this exact moment I have on layby an American Standard Fender Strat in Olympic White! Olympic white is a cream, sort of off-white, not a true white. A true white like this page’s background is Arctic White, and only made by the Mexican Fender co. [which we all know doesn't really hold a candle to American Fender!]
The finish is apparently nitrocellulose [not 100% sure on the 2008 but that's what I've heard], so it will yellow a little more.
Regardless though, those American Strats just sing, they cry, those beauties truly make the most beautiful, beautiful sounds <3
Enjoy it man, sweet Hendrix above they are so beautiful!
I once heard someone say 'If God had a guitar, it would be a Fender Strat'
