hey, does anyone know where to find the vintage vogue magazine covers? i heard there are some in paris, (the originals)… i think theres like a whole store or something? anyways, is there any in bc,canada… like vancouver area??? even if they’re not original, i really like them but i don’t know where to find them around here!!! anyone know??? Thank you for making me feel old, child. I hate to use the back when I was young — but back when I was young we used to scour the second-hand bookstores. There was no other way. Some handled magazines, others didn’t. And Vancouver would be a good place to check (though I never checked there). Many of these places have moved to the Internet. Try ABEbooks:

I’m constantly being told to search for my second-hand treasures on tomfolio but I never get the same deals I get on abebooks. I don’t know how strong their presence in Canada is, ABEbooks will get you books from independent booksellers on the North American Continent and Western Europe–no sweat. Maybe you’ll even start a relationship with one in your area.
Short of that there’s the net. ANY sort of illustration has a LOT of pages devoted to it.
