How do i fix my BSR record player?
I just bought a gramophone with a BSR turntable (not the original but it looks good) and i know nothing about vintage radios. The turntable works on all speeds and everything else is in good working order. I need to fit a stylus though and i don’t know a) which stylus to buy, b) whether the cartridge is already attached, and c) how to attach either should this be the case. Please help a young man with an old man problem!!!
It’s a while since I’ve replaced either.
The cartridge is held onto the end of the arm by a pair of screws/nuts and is a bit bigger than a normal dice.(the can be other shapes)
The sylus sticks out the front and hangs down, (bit like a bee sting) on the end of it you’ll see a little saphire (I think)
