Camden county Museum
The center of the Show me state is the perfect spot for a Lake of the Ozarks Family vacation. Your group will find all manner of activities and attractions including museums, fishing, golf, cruises, and caves and camping. If you are interested in history, you can spend more time visiting the Camden county Museum. This museum is dedicated to preserve and make available the history of Camden County for the benefit, enjoyment and education of people and future generations. The museum is located in the lake of the Ozarks area just off highway 54 on state road V in Linn creek, Mo. Museum hours are March through October, 10 am to 4 pm. Winter hours are by appointment or by chance.

Camden county Museum offer Vintage exhibits and genealogy services, historical publication and journals. The exhibits include the new Indian relics display, civil war memorabilia, firearms, furniture, clothing as well as tools. Dinner theatre presentation is an important event. This theatre features young museum players and museum players. Season tickets are available to see the dinner theatre presentations.
Some new events conducted by the Museum throughout the seasons are as follows: Benefit golf tournament, Apple butter fall festival days, Town and county outdoor markets, quilt show, tea dances, business expos, craft shows and garage sales.

They have a vast database on genealogy contain information on over 133,000 people-mostly form Camden county. New names and family information is added to this database every week.
