Distilleria Bottega, the company famous for their luscious grapes and have been in the Guinness Book of World Record for their wines. So now, the experts at Bottega have taken a step further and teamed up with American designer Denise Focil to create a new, luxury wine called the Amarone Bottega, Il vino Prêt-á-porter.
Amarone Bottega is a red wine created from a mixture of different vines, the most important being Veronese Corvina, of which 40-70% is present in the wine. The Rondinella grapes (20-40%) and the Molinara grapes (5-25%) are also essential. Described as a rich full-bodied wine with a flowery bouquet with a slight hint of almonds and noticeable
touch of spice, the highlight of Amarone is the vintage suitcase-kind case it comes in. Encrusted with metal studs, the white leather case features a metal plaque with the ‘Alpinestars by Denise Focil‘ logo engraved on it.
Delhi Duty Free has established itself as a premium retail destination catering to a diverse audience. They have proved it again and again with some of the finest exclusive launches. Nicholas Goddard Palmer, CEO, Delhi Duty Free, while talking about the launch, said that they offered a comprehensive range of Vodka but are proud to launch F Vodka exclusively at the IGI Airport, New Delhi. F Vodka is gently exciting, extremely smooth, clean and subtle. It is remarkable vodka at a fair super premium price range of $ 44 to $ 48.
The Dalmore distillery, Scotland made a new record by selling two of the three world’s most expensive Scotch whisky bottles, “Dalmore 64 Trinitas” for $160,100 each. The Dalmore, one of the most famous whisky distilleries around the world, has now added the Eos 59-Year-Old Single Malt to its list of extreme vintages. Christened after the Titan goddess of the dawn, the 59-year-old scotch is bottled from the same pair of sherry casks that were used for the Selene, the Dalmore’s highly prized 1951 vintage.
Only 20 special decanters of the Dalmore Eos 59-Year-Old Single Malt will be made available, with each costing $20,120. The decanter, made from mouth-blown Portuguese crystal, is housed in a precious yet strong solid steel box.
Glenfiddich is in the midst of a million-dollar re-branding campaign that centers on the crystal stag sculpture.Crafted by Chris Blade and Katya Filmus at the National Glass Centre at the University of Sunderland in England, each sculpture is made by the cire perdue method from 50 kilograms of 24% lead crystal glass that replicates the deer’s head which forms the Glenfiddich emblem. It sits atop a gondola display with the distillery’s core range of
single malt expressions arranged in a spiral point-of-sale.
Following similar displays erected at London Heathrow and Frankfurt airports, the third in the series was recently unveiled in Dubai, with a total of 21 examples set for proliferation at travel retail locations around the world.
