Who are better, or that old applicances today?

I have a couple of old 1920-1930 small appliances (toaster, hair dryer, heater, water heater, stove) in my house all the time and never had a break at a time, and these things are very well done in art deco style and lasted 70 to 80. On the other hand, I had an expensive hair dryer, toaster, etc, which came after a year or two. What do you think is better, someone else applicances use of time?

Deffinatly the old is better, and I have a cooking time, and everything was 50 years +
