Have you spoken to STAR WARS Novelist Brian Daley?
The STAR WARS novel “Han Solo – At Stars End” was written by the late Brian Daley in 1979. In the novel, he created a vintage starfighter called the “Z-95 Headhunter” that is described in detail in chapter four of the novel.
Most “official” STAR WARS Sources describe and illustrate the Z-95 Headhunter very differently as compared to the Brian Daley novel description.
I am trying to create an accurate model of this ORIGINAL ship but unfortunately Brian Daley’s is no longer with us to ask in-person. I am looking for people who may have spoken to Brian Daley in the past in-person or via email directly and can add to the description.
Have you spoken to Brian Daley???
I have not spoken to Brian Daley, sorry, but I might be able to help.
I have read The han Solo adventures, including Stars End aswell as many other star wars books and agree with your conclusion that the descriptions are not acurrate. What I sujest you do is ignore Daley’s description and go with the “official” star wars sources. Most of the books written that long ago are no longer considerd part of the star wars “canon” Daley’s books have lasted longer than most but some still do not give them the full credidation of more recent books. My advice is just use more imfo from more recent books.
Good luck with your model and may the force be with you.
