Average price for a vintage singer sewing machine?
I’m trying to sell some of my mothers things, and I have three vintage Singer sewing machines (the large ones, attached to the table, with the foot pedal) and it looks to be circa 1930′s but I can’t be sure. Where can I price this? Most of the models that come up in Yahoo search are much later than the one I have. Any help?
Most of the electric cabinet machines, unless you’ve got one that’s one of the more sought models like a 221, 222, 301 or 401 will be worth $0-25; you can often find someone to buy them for about $10. Yes, they’re good machines in that era, but not fashionable at the moment. Treadle machines or handcranks will go a bit higher, $25-100, depending on condition and market.
Do you know what models you have?
