I am…unique. Why do people make fun of that?

I have firey red hair, I am 5’7, I wear vintage clothes. I know I stand out. I am in the sixth grade, and other people somehow are bothered by me being different. Why do they do that? For example, this one very popular girl makes wisecracks and gestures about my hair and wardrobe. I like them. Why does she care so much? She shouldn’t be jelous, she can have any guy and be friends with whoever she wants.

If you wish to be unique, and you know you stand out, you must expect adverse reactions from some emotionally unstable people. Don’t worry about it be who you are, it gets better as you get older. Stay true.
