Vintage Farnsworth Radio, Model BT68….HELP!!!!!?
I have this model radio, and it was working until recently. When I took the back off, I noticed that the battery plug came out of wherever it belongs. After much looking around with a flashlight, I still have no idea where to plug this thing. I saw nothing that a small 4-prong plug should go into. I found a schematic online, but its very difficult to read. Could anyone PLEASE tell me where this thing should be plugged back into??

The 4-prong plug is pictured on the right…if you click on it, it will enlarge.
That is the plug that goes into the batteries. If you were running it on AC from the wall, the likely hood is that a tube has gone bad. The tubes listed are somewhat rare and might be difficult to replace. The battery plug may not go anywhere, but I’d think it would need to be kept from contacting other things. try http://www.tubesandmore.com/ for the tubes, or http://www.antiqueradio.org/parts.htm for lists of contacts on antique radios.
