Vintage Radio Alarm Clock

Is it possible to connect an mp3 player to an old vintage flip radio/alarm clock?
What i want to do is break into the clock and connect an mp3 player so that a particular song will play when the alarm goes off.
is this possible? has anyone ever attempted anything like this before?
btw I’m trying to recreate the Sugar Hill Gang alarm clock from Scrubs

i have never heard of anyone try this before. it may be possible depending on how old the clock is. but i doubt it very strongly sorry. =(
