Is this Quilt too Ugly to be a Doorprize?
I made this quilt to be a door prize at my local Contra dance. It’s supposed to be a give away the last dance before Xmas.
For those who don’t know what contra dance is, here’s a good example.
I finally finished the quilt, but I think it may be too ugly to give away. I was going for a vintage country feel. Something someone’s grandmother may have made. I think I achieved that, but not in a good way.
I don’t want people to dread winning this thing. Is it too ugly to give away?
Update: Thank you so much everyone. I really needed some honest feedback. My husband is always going to say it looks great, my kids will always protect my heart. But I needed someone to tell me, “Dang girl, that’s ugly” if it is!
