NYC weather late March?

I’m visiting there Mar 27-31 and I’m wondering what the weather will be like. I’ve heard any time of the year, it’s pretty difficult to predict what the weather will be like, but there must be some typical type of weather for this time of the year. I’ve also heard that it’s still cold this time of the year but I’m not not sure that’s true since it’s around the beginning of spring. Also, if possible, some information about what to pack. So far, I have packed a leather overcoat, a vintage sherpa-lined cord jacket, military jacket, sherpa-lined hoodie, an umbrella, a pair of UGGs (yes I packed waterproof spray also), a few T-shirts, long johns, sweaters, jeans, a pair of shorts, scarves, hats, gloves, warm socks, and converse. If there’s a problem with my list, tell me if not, tell me also.

Averages high temps are in the mid to upper 50′s and lows are in the upper 30′s. But this week has been in the 60′s since Tuesday and tomorrow and Saturday will be in the low 70′s. There will be a cool down into the low to mid 50′s for Monday through Wednesday with lows in the 40′s but then the National Weather Service is predicting it to be 62 by Thursday. It’s still too early to predict the weather for then but it might change slightly as we get closer to next week. About 4 days before you go, this link (National Weather Service) will give you the forecast which is updated every few hours throughout the day. Then you will know what clothes will be necessary to pack:
