I held low expectations for this movie and I'm glad I did. I was a big fan of the TV series of the 60, but not see episodes until the mid-90's, so he waited nearly 15 years for a film adaptation of The Green Hornet.

The movie is cheesy, the story is a cliché, the villain is wasted and Seth Rogen wrote the script. On the basis of the plot and dialogue, not a movie well done but not meant to be. This movie could have been writing more seriously and be in the same card A film by Christopher Nolan's Batman, but instead followed the path of being a funny movie with lots of explosions. Some things do not work other things was intelligent and visually entertaining.

The things I most admired are a tribute to the original television series. There was some criticism during the presentation of 60 as the character of Kato was more than a friend, butler, valet, driver assistance or the Green Hornet. Bruce Lee did not have much dialogue and had no screen time. It was in the 60's and just have an Asian-American to be a character in a daily program was a big problem, so I never saw this as an insult. In this film, which reach a broad agreement on this issue Seth Rogen Jay Chou and constantly argued about the role of Kato in the whole movie.

Another tribute to the TV is an image drawn Bruce Lee, Al Hirt song "Flight of the Bumblebee" song, and there is even a script for my favorite episode was written in the film. The black beauty is also a very impressive car! The funny thing is that the TV show, the black beauty was a new and very recent Crown Imperial sedan 1966. In the film, the vehicle is exactly the same, but now is a vintage classic car.

I saw the 3D version and there were very few sequences where it's 3D effects worth the extra price of admission. I recommend saving your money and watch the 2D version instead.

To end it all adds up, the movie is not good, but brought my love for characters in the world of The Green Hornet. The film is visually entertaining for what it is. Hopefully there will be a sequel, but someone wrote the script.
