Are Vintage Salon-Style Hair Dryers Safe for You? :O?
Hi, I was planning on dying my hair, so my mom pulled out this vintage bonnet-style salon hair dryer that she found sitting in my grandma’s garage… It’s from around the 1960s I believe and it seems to be in pretty good condition (no rust, etc..). However, I am worried that there could be a health/safety risk? Does anyone have any opinions, articles, or other information they could give me about my concerns?
Thanks! <3,
allison
I don’t think it would be a health risk. I don’t think there would be any asbestos in it. But I am always concerned about old wiring, but I don’t think you really have anything to worry about. It’s not that old. I’d use it. I’ve used one of those before. I think it will be okay.
