where can i buy beat up vintage guitars?

im looking for a old beat up vintage guitar from maybe the 60′s,70′s or even 80′s. i want one for my senior project so i can restore it to its original condition, and so i can have it to play. iv been doing some research all over the internet and cant find any that are beat up. i would really like a hollowbody, but if not, somthing with a flamed maple top that i can stain. and by beat up, i dont mean something with a cracked neck, just something with chipping paint, crappy rusted pickups and worn down frets. my price range is probably up to $500
