Selling Vintage Gucci Purses?
I have 3 pairs of purses excellent condition. 1980′s
I paid original price.
Now, the Q is how much would I charge? Are people willing to pay lots of money for good cond. purses?
Go on ebay and search. You can do an ADVANCED SEARCH for items that are COMPLETED. This will show you whether they sold, and if so, the selling price. Then you can be the judge whther the price people are paying is acceptable.
Currently purses are not selling as well as they have in years past due to the economy, I believe.
There are collectors out there who would always jump at the opportunity to add a rare piece in good condition to their collection at any given time, however.
ebay places limits on New sellers (and even experienced sellers, too) who are being subjected to selling limits on highly counterfeited brands such as GUCCI, LV, etc of two item listings per month.
You have to thoroughly research what you have, and then determine the proper selling price and marketing plan.
