What kind of skin is my coat? ?

I bought a vintage leather jacket, and now have no idea what type of skin, that is when I had a couple of people asked me, and I do not know what to say. Someone said it could be a mink or sable. I have a vision, and really sensetive skin, mink hair and my skin is just, but it dosn't, then I think it might be a different skin. mahogany color, but black spots, and other black areas. What's this skin on my jacket?
