Furgent Care – Quick Fur Care Tips and Options

We have seen it all.  Mistakes.  Bad luck.  Really bad luck.  Bloobers. And  many more.  This is about those moments when you think your fur is ready for trash, but in reality it’s really not that bad.

A hole in your fur.  Not a problem.  Take the fur and separate the hair around the hole with your hands, spread the hole a little bit:  if the fur does not start coming apart in your hands, then this is fixable.  Take it to a professional.  Note there are professionals that may tell you that your fur is done and you need a new one.  Go somewhere else for a second opinion or send me a picture of it and I will tell you myself. Please do not try to glue the hole.

Your fur has matted hair.  Not a big deal.  Just take it to a professional or treat it with Lana’s product designed especially for matted hair.  Do not brush or pull on the hair as it may fall out.

You got lipstick/fatty food/other stain on your fur.  This also has an easy fix.  Take it to a professional or treat it with Lana’s Tough Stain Solution.

Moldy, musty smell.  You dug this fur out of a moldy basement.  The fur looks pretty good, but smells awful.  The doctor says- if the mold has penetrated the leather itself  you may be in trouble.  Otherwise, 9 out of 10 times, you can clean it with a professional to restore its smell or treat it at home with Lana’s Fur Solution.

All crumpled up.  You threw your fur on the chair and it stayed there for days.  Your fur dropped from the hanger and lay on the bottom of the closet for weeks.  You pick it and it looks horrible.  Do not iron it.
