decorating my room, any ideas??

so i have a blank canvas!
I am into music,fashion,vintage,textiles and art.

For colours I would go for stone/vintage browns and dusky pinks, maybe a bit of duck egg blue chucked in there.

I love the idea of the chalkboard paint as well!

Or why not wallpaper one wall with your favourite images from fashion mags (Use wallpaper paste not blue tack or pins as this is so tacky!).

Or if you want the wall painted plain you could decorate them with say 3 highly decorative vintage dresses hanging symmetrically along the wall. You could hand them off some vintage style hooks like these:

I would buy an old/antique style shelving unit which you can fill with lots of lovely clutter, something like this:

If you love sewing why not make your own curtains – I am sure if you are a creative person you have lots of fab ideas for them!
