Vintage Engagement Rings White Gold

what kind of engagement ring do you want/have?
My boyfriend (finace) and I picked out mine (we’re waiting for it in the mail right now…I’m so excited =) and it’s a filligree vintage white gold with about five little diamonds throughout. I wanted something unique, what about everyone else?
Umm, please don’t rain on my parade, I am excited about getting engaged, most people are. The ring is a big part of an engagement, and mine was only about $400 so I’m not a huge materialist. I appreciate the fun, relevant answers though =)
Congrats! I think filigree rings are just gorgeous.
My husband chose my rings, and they are modest and totally beautiful. The engagement ring has a solitaire with shoulder stones, and the matching wedding band has three of the smaller stones. So in a way they are traditional, but the yellow gold bands are kind of flat/shiny (wow, hard to describe), so they make the set look very different.
