What should I put in a “The Count of Monte Cristo” movie basket (for V-day)?
We’re in our late 20′s.
I want to make the guy I’m seening a “The Count of Monte Cristo” movie basket for Valentine’s Day.
We were in a DVD store one day and he asked them if they had it– they didn’t. I really don’t know what to get him, so I figured this would be sweet/ romantic.
The problem is I’ve never seen this movie.
I’d like to add a prop or two from the movie to the basket, like if this were Forrest Gump, I could put in a box of chocolates, some ping pong balls & paddles, and could maybe even find a bubba gump vintage shirt.
I’m gonna put in the usual stuff: the DVD, a couple 20oz sodas, microwave popcorn, some movie theater candy,… but I need some prop ideas!

Gold coins– I suppose the movie revoloves around money or money plays a part in the plot.
Monte Cristo Sandwich– I was talking to my sister about the movie and she instantly thought of them!
