retro room ideas – more detailed the better?

i’m a 14 year old girl and my parents and I are trading rooms. my room will be quite large and a rectangular shape. it has two alcoves – one for my desk area and another for wardrobes. i will have a single bed, desk, shelves, 2 wardrobes, a sofa bed, and a bedside table in my room. i have a lot of artwork i would like to put up on the walls. i’m wanting to decorate my room retro style, i like old comics and games like pacman and space invaders. i love comic book characters like batman etc, and i love vogue and vintage models. does anyone have any tips on how to decorate my room like this?
i also love photography, reading, movies (like pick of destiny, beetlejuice, rocky horror etc), and music (mostly rock, punk and things like that).

Since you have a lot of interests I would keep the colors very neutral so you can change it around whenever you would like. Maybe stick to something like Blk/Whi or Grey/White and then pick two pops of color for your accessories. Then you can put up all the artwork you like and everything will blend really nice together.

Also you mentioned you like music and reading…not sure if your parents would allow it but on one wall write down your favorite chorus-lyric from a song or maybe a quote from your favorite book.
