What are amazing things/stuff to have in a new bedroom?

I am moving and I am in 8th grade
My wall colors are a soft lime green
and like my duvet cover and pillows and stuff are going to be tourqoise, the lime green and some soft purples and pinks
and i want to know some cool things and decorative things to have in my room. like a stereo a desk, clock radio, vintage movie posters and everything like that!
PLEASE HELP!!!
I REALLY WANT MY ROOM TO BE COOL so all my new friends that I make will like it!! =]

just a warning tho: my friend’s walls were lime green and she kinda got overwhelmed by it after a while. but it wasnt overbearing when you walked in or anything so actually it was fine.
anyway.
stereos are nice. but i’d get just a cool ipod dock thing, if you wanna be keen on space…
uhh. as far as “vintage” stuff, i have records in an upside down L pattern kinda thing by my full length mirror. it loooks really cool. they dont even have to be significant records, just go to goodwill and buy some random ones for like a dollar and pin them up with pushpins in the hole in the middle…
you could do that, or my friend just bought a whole bunch of blank cd’s and covered his entire wall with them. it looks pretty awesome, though it sounds lame haha
whats popular to do, ive noticed, is printing off all the pictures of good times you and your friends have had and covering your walls with that. it’ll look good, and it’ll be cool for you as a way to remember your old friends(:
but im focusing too much on the walls…
i think a glass desk would deff look cool, maybe if yr rooms big enough you could have a couch/loveseat thing goin on too. that makes it look more hangy outy.
for most of the furniture i’d stick with metal/glass or light wood pieces… try ikea.
also, i like dressers with mirrors.
bulletin boards are good too.
you could also get those pictures that are cut up into like 4 diff sections, idk what they’re called but i like how they look.
