How exciting it is to have your own room!

I know how important it is to have a room that you love being in. I have 6 daughters and it has been a lot of fun making their bedrooms a place of retreat.

We have a 13 and 14 year old that share a room Their colors are silver blue and white. Their bedding and decor have pastel shades of blue, pink, yellow, green, and fuchsia

Here is a post I made earlier of what we did with one of our daughter’s room.

Almost all of our items were bought at Marshalls.

Here is what we did with one of our daughter’s room ( when she didn’t have to share anymore!)

First, you said you like pretty dark colors, One of our daughters love everything to do with forests

1. We painted two walls with hunter green and two walls with cappuccino (Behr satin finish).

2. We then chose two paintings (from Marshalls) One was a forest scene with animals with a cherry finish frame and the other was a cream painted frame of a rainforest scene. It has more light to it. We placed that on the hunter green wall. We also added a silver oval framed mirror and and rectangular family picture collage frame.

3. Her bedding is a mixture of hunter green, cappuccino. and red with some yellow.
We also put a rolling cart in her room where she has a terrarium sitting on top. The shelves hold her school supplies. She closes the doors and it is nice and neat. You can find this at the resource below.
I wish I could show you a picture but it is truly a retreat for her ( she is 16).
