cleaning a vintage edwardian outfit?
Hello – Can anyone help please?
I have bought a beautiful vintage edwardian dress. It doesnt really need cleaning – just smells a bit musty!!
Any advice as to how to air/clean it?
I’ve hung it a few times by an open window out of the sunlight – is it true lavender can help?
Any advice would be great!

Depending on the value of the dress, I would either take it to a dry cleaner, or put some lavender or some other air freshener in the garment bag with it.
