Is anyone using a backpack vacuum cleaner?
I had never heard of such a thing but apparently they are common in the commercial cleaning industry. From what I understand it is basically a canister style machine, that straps on your back, then you just have to keep up with the cord and the hose….it’s like carrying a canister with you. GENIUS! The only thing I don’t like about canister vacs is that you drag them behind you. Imagine it off the floor!
I wonder if there is one specially designed for home use, at a more friendly price?
Users, what are your thoughts?
Are the bags easily available and reasonably priced?
I am a custodian at a university and we use them. They are ok after you get used to the wieght. They arent that heavy. They are bulky and you have to pay attention to what is around you so you wont knock things off. I would prefer a cannister one with an extra long hose or one that is within the walls.
