Relaxation For Self Empowerment

Hi everyone.  I hope everyone is enjoying Memorial Day weekend.   I can smell the barbecues now.   These Holidays always promote relaxing with friends and family and I hope you are all doing just that.

As goal oriented, driven people we sometimes don’t know when to slow down and it can lead to burn out, which will eventually lead to being unproductive.   Relaxation and recharging our batteries is just as important and goes hand in hand with striving toward our goals.   Who hasn’t heard the saying “All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy?”   Well not only does it make Johnny a dull boy, it makes in a tired, sluggish, ornery and not very effective boy.

It is a well know fact that working when you are refreshed leads to better focus, more stamina and more results.   Personally I like to take my Saturday afternoons and Sundays off to recharge my batteries.  I play some tennis, take in a ball game, read a book, take a long nap or go for long walks in nature to revitalize.   It is an individual thing.  Do what you enjoy.  What relaxes you?

I will guarantee that if you take time each week to relax and recharge your batteries it will lead to better health, better focus and better results.   Below is a short video that reinforces what relaxation can do for you.  Enjoy, to your success,

Terry
