Photoshop question – dpi, actual size & print size?
I have a file I wanna print as 1meter poster (39inches)
The pixel size in photoshop is 11800 X 5600 pixels
The document size is 39.3 X 18.8 inches
The resolution is 300dpi
When I zoom to Actual Pixels (100%), the image is very very blurry.
When I zoom to Print Size (24%) , it’s good, although not crisp clear, but acceptable for me.
In both cases, the Photoshop ruler shown exactly 39.3 inches in width & 18.8 in height
So if i print in document size 39X18, which one will I get, the blurry pic, or good acceptable pic??
Help!!!
Print quality also depends on the image you want to print, not only pixel size nor resolution. Make sure the original image (e.g. photo sharpness) is fine and its resolution is not digitally enlarge. In most case, you will get a good acceptable picture.
