basically i have to explain how renoir used one of the elements of composition in this painting.

Elements of compostion include; space, form, color, line, shape, texture or pattern, and value. Principles of composition include; harmony, variety, unity, balance, rhythm, movement and emphasis.
The principles of art refer to how the artist has used the elements.
If you want to suggest how mood is set, I would concentrate on the artist’s use of color and how the overall composition is enhanced in a certain mood by color selection and use.
