How can I talk to my kid about my LSD use?

I have a son and he’s all into psychedelic rock, he is always listening to the Doors, Pink Floyd and other stuff and he has a bunch of psychedelic posters on his wall. When I was in high school in the 1980s, acid came back with a punch and we tripped every weekend for about three years. I’ve racked up at least 100 trips, and I feel that it’s made me relate better to my congregation as well as my animals. My kid wants to know more about it and has asked if I could guide him on his first trip. Should I do it and not risk him dropping acid with some stranger and getting himself screwed up royally? I don’t know much about regulating dosage because the stuff we bought was almost always evenly cut out at 250 mikes, but I don’t know what’s going around these days.

I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding real acid in the underground. And even then it’s impossible to tell how much you are getting. Have you ever tried mushrooms? Legitimate psilocybin mushrooms are very physically safe. The experience is similar to lsd, but you can weigh out the dose, so you know exactly how much you are taking. 3.5 grams is usually plenty for most people. Mushrooms are sometimes sold as a weaker version of LSD, but I like them much more. I’ve found the experience to be more visual and much less… “painfully psychoanalytical” compared to lsd. The hallucinations are not as personal, but if the dose is strong enough they can be just as enlightening and mind blowing.

I think it’s great that you are keeping an open mind with your sons experiences. Set and setting are very important, and what could be better than having someone there who understands?
