How can i get my dad to understand?

I’m 15 and i like classic rock. One day i was listening to the beatles and my dad flipped and didn’t let me buy one of their cds. He always does this to me and puts me down by calling me a follower and stuff like that. My uncle listens to them and he hates him with a passion. He’ll blame him for me listening to them and it honestly has nothing to do with him. I want to listen to the beatles and get this poster of them that I’ve had my eye on. How can I do this without starting world war 3? I’ve told my dad off once and tried to work it out, but he is so stubborn if I don’t want to be like him. I’m trying to be myself but he’s stopping me. It’s gotten out of control and it seems like it’s not about the music anymore. Help Me!
