How can I make money from taking Photographs?
I have always loved taking photographs, and have taken pictures all over the U.S.. I haven’t had a digital camera for a few years now and finally want to invest in one. I have my heart settled on the Cannon EOS Rebel T1i. The price is within my range but I am not sure if this camera would be worth it. I takes pictures as a hobby and for memories, but If I could find a way to make profit off of my photographs, it may make my decision easier! Majority of my photographs are nature based. Snow covered landscapes, warm sandy beaches, brilliant golden sunsets, thick lush forest. I want to be able to make poster size prints and catch some fast action shots. How can I make money, and is this a fair camera?
The EOS Rebel T1i is a fine camera for this sort of work, but you will want to consider what lenses you use, as well. However, you could save money for your starter camera by picking up something used, or an older Rebel.
How to sell your pictures?
– Exhibit at an art fair in your town
– Does your local library allow you to exhibit your pictures?
– Sell on eBay (of course)
– Do you have local mom and pop art or antiques shops? Perhaps they will allow you to sell on commission
