Poster Frame Signs
A poster frame sign is an attractive way to display a sign on a wall, but there are other options to this form of sign. Some of the poster frame signs are freestanding, such as an A-frame.
Wall
These are the poster frame signs that could commonly be found at movie theatres, for example. The frame is located on the wall and a current or upcoming movie poster is placed inside. There are two different kinds of these types of signs – indoor and outdoor. Often current movie poster frame signs are located outside a theatre on the building facade to let the public know what movies are showing. There is also an area added to display show times. These signs are made of weather resistant material. The other signs are found inside along the walls in the theatre where people can see them. They usually display upcoming movies. The inside signs are usually not made of weather resistant material. The poster frame sign often is attached to the wall with the front of the sign coming unlocked and opened to help make poster placement easier.
Freestanding
These are poster frame stands that stand alone. There are different styles available, but they usually have a stand and then the poster frame rest atop the stand. The poster is inserted into the frame and can be seen on two sides. Common signs are 22×28 to 24×18 and can often be used either inside or outside. These signs can often be found in entranceways and lobbies. Both options are inexpensive, but present an effective message. They are even easy to move even though the bottom is often weighted to help keep the freestanding sign in place to prevent it from being knocked over. Just keep in mind that not all freestanding poster frame signs are made to be used inside as well as outside. This is important because if the sign is not made for outdoor use then the weather will break down the material and it won’t be reusable.
A-frame Poster Frame Signs
Use a poster frame A-frame signs to help display a sign that is seen on two sides. These often come in metal, aluminum or plastic frames. Each is rust and weather resistance making them work fine for indoor and outdoor use. There are also options for just indoor use that are wooden and other indoor materials. This free standing sign can be fitted with a permanent custom or premade sign or be designed for changeable signs. Both options are popular for anyone needing such a sign such as individuals and business owners. These poster frame signs are cost effective and have enough options to fit a variety of budgets. These signs can be found receptions halls, conventions centers and any indoor location that will have a lot of people walking around. The outdoor option might be used for valets or along a business district sidewalk area with the signs located outside businesses.
Poster frame signs can be used for much different reason. It could be a way to direct traffic not just along the road, but helping people find their way around a trade show. Arrows can be placed on these signs pointing to a particular booth or pointing to event parking.
