Indian Cuisine : Can I freeze poppy seeds paste and cashew nuts paste?
Hi,
I generally use these two pastes in almost 90% of Indian gravy dishes and it’s such a headache to grind them every time especially poppy seeds paste. Can you please tell me if it’s ok if I grind them in a bulk and freeze them ? Will they have a different taste than fresh ones ?
also, if it’s possible to freeze them – for how many days/months at max I can keep them frozen and use them ?

Try doing it for 1 week only, at a time …… for good taste …. !!~☺
EDIT : if u fry the paste in a little oil & then freeze, then may be the taste would be better later on too !!~☺
