what is the best oil to pop my popcorn in?
Best as in taste and healthy?
We think it is so much more fun to pop it on the stove than in microwave, Kids go wild!! But, I do know of microwavable popcorn.
most use corn oil but any oil that can withstand high temperatures without burning will suffice. canola works .
if one were concerned with trans fats they could I imagine use Ghee and not have to worry about butter this way either .
Ghee is the first oil ever used . they simmer butter remove the milk solids and water .it require no refrigeration and is not altered by heat as other oils that make trans fats at high temperatures.
