POP-OUT HTC Desire Z has been officially launched
On Sep, 15, 2010, the world famous smarphone manufacturer HTC launched a press conference in London, UK. At the press conference, HTC CEO shared the latest development strategy of the smartphone and lauched the latest Android mobile phone. The special designed item just like watch mp4 player will be welcomed. The phone comes with the slide-out keyboard design which is also greatly welcomed.
HTC Desire Z applies the slide-out keyboard design which is not the common push mode, but the POP-OUT. The model space can be fully taken advantage of in this way. Next let’s come to the hardware configuration. It’s equipped with the 800MHz QUALCOMM MSM7230 processor. And it supports HSPA+ and 802.11n network connection. There is a 5, 000, 000 camera which supports the 720P HD video recording. It’s the middle to high end product which is also the major product of HTC in the latter half of this year.
What’s more, HTC Desire Z applies the latest Sense interface which will increase the internet communication. At the same time, it applies the Android2.2. It supports Flash10.1, wireless AP and APP2SD. It’s also good in respect of software.
At present, the HTC official reveals that Desire Z will appear on the European and Asia market first in October. Subsequently, it will appear on the North America market. The price still remains to be seen. The selling price of the model shouldn’t be settled too high. The media captured the appearance of the model after the press conference.

The design style of Desire
First there are still four navigation keys which are protected by the black frame. It still applies the touch sensitive design. The Desire Z applies the new optical touchpad. Though we can’t experience the new navigation keys personally at present, we believe the workmanship of HTC will not let us down.
Full keyboard design
There is blue back light behind the keys. As the pop-out design is applied, the space is fully reserved. The keyboard of Desire Z is very flat and the size of the keycap is not small. In order to avoid the wrong operation, the gap between the keys is reserved. It appears to be high-tech item with the blue back light.
Pop-out slide design
We have mentioned Desire Z comes with the POP-OUT design. You must be curious about that how it works specifically. When the users push out the keyboard, the bracket in the middle will stand up and make a 180°turn. Then the screen and the keyboard will preserve a nice angle. And enough room will be left for keyboard area. HTC shows us a very classical industrial design.
