trundle bed compatible?

are most daybeds able to include a pop-up trundle?

There are many types of day-beds in the market. The one pictured is very basic and cheap. The pop-up trundle is convenient, but not all day beds have this feature.

It almost looks unstable. Anyway, perhaps you need it for occasional use.

The length of the one shown will accommodate a 6ft person easily. The older ones are generally shorter in length.
