Help, need help with pop up tent or RV question which is lighter and better and EASIEST?
OK, obviously I know nothing about camping really, but I want to take the kids camping and do more fun stuff. I am a single mom, own a suburban, was looking at buying a pop up tent trailer. Then some suggsted a Trailer Light as it is easier. My question is, which is the easiest and least expensive. He was also telling me that a pop up tent trailer takes like an hour to set up as you have to level it and crank it, etc…??? Thanks
a travel trailer is the way to go bottom line. The pop ups are a real pain in the ass. They leak! More problems then they are worth. Pulling the beds out can be a hard job. You really need at least two people to do it. Travel trailer provides more privacy and room. Both can be pulled by a suburban. The travel trailer will be a little more in cost but you get what you pay for.
