Three of the greatest pianists of modern times pop

It seems that pop music sometimes has a bad reputation. A summary of three of the largest modern pop pianists can dispel the myth that the pop is a lower rate. Their skills and their level of knowledge of music genres rival pianists.

Sir Elton John: Born in England in 1947, his illustrious career has spanned three decades. John's talent for the piano was evident even before the child enters school. Often has been heard at the meeting of difficult pieces in classical piano by ear at age four years. In fact, it was considered a prodigy. John entered the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship at age 11 and overcame most of the students.

His professional career began as many musicians. John spent several years play in the pubs. Finally, a chance opportunity led him to collaborate with Bernie Taupin. John and Taupin write songs together so far. Composition led to the release their debut album in 1970. Soon after, he became known as "the father of piano rock", a matching title again today.

Billy Joel: Although often associated with his first hit, "The Piano Man" Joel almost did not learn to play. It is with great reluctance and at the insistence of his mother started lessons piano. It was emphasized in the jurisdiction, despite ridicule from classmates of his preference for music over sports. Joel even had the boxing high school to punish these jokes. Well has won numerous championship boxing, boxing left after a nose injury and focused on their activities music.

Joel began playing professionally at 14. He has played with several bands from 1964 until he recorded and released his first solo album in 1971. Although the album did not get much success, but his second did. "The Piano Man" single was an instant success. The album "The Piano Man", which was published in 1973, is a gold record. To date, more than 4 million copies of this album were sold.

Joel then made several albums in his career. His works include an album of original classical piano.

Jerry Lee Lewis: A lot of credit for the development of rock music's role in society should be given the name the artist. In fact, Lewis is considered a pioneer in the industry. He started playing the piano as a child and had an obvious gift for music. Fascinated by the "music black, "which began to develop his own style based on that. It was a mixture of gospel, which had grown, and the country, R & B woogie and boogie. It was demonstrated the first form of rock and roll.

Lewis has often publicly condemned to play in a style not heard before. Even his own family reported her work. This criticism seems to feed her artistic nature even more. His fame spread, and even Elvis Presley has learned. He is quoted as saying. "If I could play the piano well, let's sing "

Lewis's life, like many artists, has been plagued by personal problems and scandals. His marriage to his cousin 13 years in 1953 (then still married to his first wife) fell nearly his career in the dark. Soon after, his fame was limited to that subject to teasing and ridicule public. Health problems, addiction to alcohol, and tragedies of the family near him in. But only after a movie about his life was published in 1989, his career has made a return. This included one gold in 2007, the first since 1973, and his induction into the Rock-n-Roll of Fame the same year.
