How to build a vacuum chamber?

I can make silicone molds of my clay sculptures for casting resin. Without a camera expensive vacuum, is a slow process carefully to ensure that all bubbles are out. I heard that you can use a pressure cooker and a vacuum pump to make your own vacuum chamber and wonder if anyone has tried this and had good results? I have no problem with building my own instead of passing a couple of grand to buy one but it takes some recommendations. Today, I brush my doll bed of clay and then pour RTV Silicone at least 36 " cover and pop bubbles as I see them. This does not always work! LOL Any suggestions? Thanks!
