I have a lump on my upper neck 
?
Im 19, 20 this month. For about 2 weeks ive noticed this lump on my upper neck, about 2 inches down from my jaw . You cant even notice it if you look at me but i can feel it. its about the size of the tip of my pointer finger and only protrudes out as much as a pimple. its painless and isnt even red. ive gotten angry and tried to squeeze it to pop it because my friend told me you can pop cysts. But it didnt pop, and I refuse to stick a needle in my neck. It hasnt grown at all since i noticed it.
I do lift weights everyday, sometimes vigorously if that would matter. I am scared to go to the doctor because I dont want surgery on my fu**kin neck!!!! will this go away?! its buggin me out
i dont think its got to do anything with wt lifts.
well u do need a doctor at this stage, no doubt ur friend is an idiot to advice u to pop it up, u may land up into more serious infection.
if this is a cyst they would drain it, they may use topical anaesthesia , you wont even feel a thing.
nowdays its so painless that even children arent afraid of it, so dude loose ur fear, hope u do that as bravely as u do ur lifts.
