How I can decorate my room with a budget? [More details]?

I have a tight budget, but I would like to decorate my room and make it more personal and intimate. It is wide, with white walls and clay tile roof and dark. It seems very impersonal. I can not change the tiles … but I love the carpet. The walls are almost empty, except for one or two frames. In my room, I have a double bed with no headboard, small table, comfortable, small office use, the Series 3 drawers, wicker, and a large empty white wood cabinet in the corner.
