Is there a specific name for a knick knack shelf above a window?
I am wanting to make one of those knick-knack shelves that fit over the very top of a window, you know like you’d see in older homes, with the scroll cutouts in the front.. I have tried searching the net for pictures to go by for design ideas but no luck finding even 1 picture.
They are called cornices.
