Quilt photo detail please web site or just be cool?
My friend and I want to make a picture quilt and need how we know if we can put the seam?
The best thing to do is take the photos in a play store. I have the luck to have a copy center to enlarge or reduce the size of the photo, create professional transfer and transfer the image onto the canvas. Look around to find a store in your area who can do it for you. I have the intention of first quilt. I know the image sizes. Use graph paper and a pencil, I write as I finished watching the quilt. This gives me a game plan to work. I So far the pictures I know what size the transfer is made. When I get the photos back, after being transferred to fabric, which can cut the size I need and start sewing. It is advisable to have a "pause" patches in the photos for two reasons. First, it allows each image to have their own space. Secondly, it gives you a place to actually quilt artisans. If you use batting and your images are larger than 3×4, you have the beds in images (some sites that have more distance between the points of quilting, see the manufacturer's instructions). I made small hand points to release the photos, me Like link. That's it. Granted a blanket the image is possible but not recommended. You will need a strong hand thread needles robust, high quality (not cotton wrapped shit) and a metal thimble. But again, I would not recommend hand reconstruction. Good luck!
