What household items can i use as a pin? for a necklace?

I just bought a heart locket necklace and there are two plastic sheaths where the pictures are supposed to go. I would like to get them out so that my pictures can be protected by i just can’t get them out. It says to use a pin to get it out and there is a very tiny wedge that a pin can fit into. However, i do not have a pin so are there any other ways to get this off?

magnets, safety pins, bobypins,paperclip, wire, ugh thats all i can think of
