Picture Frame Set

I have an SD card with a bunch of pictures on it that I am using for a digital picture frame…..?
The picture frame does not have a setting to arrange the pictures randomly and therefore all the pictures are in clumps of categories. I there a way I can mix up the pictures directly on the sd card somehow? I tried to do it manually but then they keep going in some sort of order and I do not know how to get rid of this.
Files on a card are usually by default stored in ‘filename’ order on a card, you can make them be in any order you wish by adding ’001_’ , ’002_’ etc. to the beginning of the filename of each image then select all (Ctrl + A), right-click and go to Sort>Filename. Then the images will show in the order you set. You do this on your computer using a card reader.
Some photo-frames can do this, those with a USB port, some have a ‘randomise’ as well, most don’t they just follow the order of the files as they are on the card.
