Will the Wii classic controller work with Legend of Zelda Four Swords?
will the wii classic controller work with a gamecube game I just bought, called legend of zelda four swords. Will it work?
Unfortunately, no. GameCube games played on the Wii will only work with GameCube controllers. The Classic Controller is used for other games, such as all of the Virtual Console titles. (So, if you bought a game like Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the GC, then you would need to use a GC controller. If you bought OoT for the Virtual Console, you could use either the GC controller or the Classic Controller.)
Keep in mind that you’ll also need a GC Memory Card to save your progress. In the specific case of Four Swords Adventures, you can also choose to buy some GameCube-GameBoy Connector Cables to connect to your GameBoys so that they can play with you as the other Links. You can play Four Swords Adventures with only one player, though.
