Classic Starts Three Musketeers

What are some classic books that I would like?
Here are some I have already read and loved, I’ll start with my favorite one of all The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas, other ones I’ve read and loved are:
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
All the books by Jane Austen
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
So what else should I read? Preferably something adventure-ish like The Three Musketeers. I would love it to be set in England or France, but it doesn’t have to be. But it has to be a classic!
I bet you’d love “The White Company” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (not a Sherlock Holmes book – it’s about the 100 Years War, set in the 1400s)
Some other ones you might like:
“The Aeneid” by Virgil – older than the ones you listed, but definitely a classic with lots of battles.
“A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens
“The Turn of the Screw” by Henry James – an influential psychological thriller
“Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley
Shakespeare’s tragedies and histories often have lots of action: Hamlet, Macbeth, Richard III, Richard II, Henry IV etc.
“Beowulf” – the Seamus Heaney translation is the best.
“Gilgamesh” – ancient Sumerian epic with lots of battles (5000 years old and still engaging!)
