Classic Starts Box Set

Windows XP won’t allow me to log on it just keeps logging off. PLEASE HELP!!?
OK, I have been trying to get rid of spyware all day, I finally get it removed with Spybot SD, it prompts me to reboot so I do. It comes back on, shows my wall paper without icons for a few seconds, then goes to the windows XP log in screen with an owner icon and guest icon (I have never set up passwords or users). As soon as eigther one is clicked on it just shows “logging off” and does nothing. I even did the ctrl+alt+del to get to the classic log box. I typed Administrator with no password and it opens then closes immediatly and goes back to the log in screen. I am beyond frustrated!! Please help
I also tried pressing f8 durring start up and nothing.
I pressed f8 durring start up, clicked “safemode”, clicked “windows xp media edition” and got the following message ” windows could not start eigther the file is missing or corrupt” windows root>system32hal.dll “please reinstall a copy of the above file”
that happened to me
what you need to do is reformat your computer
when you have a virus the virus owner makes a “worm hole” past your firewall its hard to get rid of it and they just keep throwing more at you
